About Vocab Monster
Vocab Monster (هیولای واژه) teaches the everyday Persian Dari words children need first, grouped into twelve topics: animals, food and fruit, colours, family, home, school, clothes, numbers, the body, nature, time and feelings.
How it works: your child matches each picture to its word while hearing it spoken aloud. Where Farsi and Dari use different words, both appear together, for example گربه/پشک for cat, so children learn the word their family uses as well as the one in books.
Tip for parents: pick one topic a week and use its words at home. After the family topic, ask your child to name everyone at the dinner table in Dari. Words used in real life stick far better than words met only on a screen.
