شکارچی صدا – Sound Hunter- Persian Dari Phonics Game
About Sound Hunter
Sound Hunter (شکارچی صدا) helps children tell apart the Persian Dari letters that look or sound alike: ب پ ت ث, ج چ ح خ, د ذ, ر ز, س ش, ص ض, ط ظ, ع غ, ف ق and ک گ. Many of these differ only by a dot or two, which is exactly where young readers get stuck.
Two ways to play: in listening mode, your child hears a sound and taps the matching letter. In writing mode, they practise the shape a letter takes when it joins the next one in a word. Each letter is paired with a picture so children remember a word that starts with it.
Tip for parents: if your child mixes up two letters, say a word for each slowly and ask which one they hear. Hearing the difference comes before seeing it.
Next step: when the letter pairs feel easy, move on to Vocab Monster to start building everyday vocabulary.
