Session Logistics and Your Tutor

All classes are 60 minutes long and conducted via remote video software. You can select one-to-one mentoring for personalized attention or join a small group for a more cost-effective way to study.

Your tutor: I am Ali, a UK university lecturer with a Cambridge CELTA, an MA in International Education and Development from the University of Sussex and the British Council IELTS Trainer Masterclass. I have taught English at UK colleges and universities for over 13 years.

Which version of IELTS do you teach? Academic and General Training, including the UKVI versions used for visa applications.
How many lessons will I need? It depends on your starting level and how much time you have. After the first session I will give you an honest estimate.
Can I use your free tools? Yes. The band score calculator and the Reading and Listening score tables on my blog are free to use.
